  • Electronic implants such as pacemakers

  • Permanent implants in the treatment area

  • Recent vaginal or pelvic surgery

  • Current or past cancer in the skin or genital area

  • Severe health conditions such as heart disease or epilepsy

  • Skin or blood disorders, including bleeding coagulopathies

  • Impaired immune system due to AIDS/HIV or immunosuppressive medications

  • Pregnancy or nursing

  • Endocrine disorders — patients with poorly controlled diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, or hormonal virilization should consult their doctor

  • Recent Isotretinoin (Accutane) use — within the last 6 months

Possible side effects

While these treatments are generally safe, certain side effects may occur:

  • Pain and skin redness — temporary discomfort and redness

  • Skin texture changes — possibility of crusts, blisters, or burns
